Our Story

Parenting is a rollercoaster of surprises, some joyful, some not so much. As parents, you work hard to raise your kids in the best way possible. And this means buying new clothes, toys, strollers and a bunch of stuff only to replace them because your kids keep outgrowing them.

But, what if there is another way? Our answer is an e-commerce platform for parents by parents, providing an organised and verified marketplace to buy & sell new and preloved kids wear, toys, furniture and so much more. And, we’ve made it as effortless as it can be. Parenting is hard enough already! We know, we’ve been there.

Our Founder

Rhea Rajan is the founder, mastermind and bossmom of Uptot. Hailing from the iconic Vadilal family, business has always been a big part of Rhea’s life. After finishing her MSc in marketing & strategy from Warwick Business School, she spent 7 pivotal years growing the family business along with handling marketing for real estate major Raiaskaran.

However, it wasn’t until motherhood came calling that Rhea discovered first-hand the challenging reality of bringing up a child in the present day. The price of modern parenting, the money and the resources it guzzled, the toll it took on the environment; all of it made Rhea ask herself – Can’t there be a better way?

She found the answer in Uptot. A community-driven, preloved marketplace for kids that connects parents across the country to sell, shop and spread the joy of sustainable living. Rhea created Uptot to be a one-stop destination where parents can enjoy quick, hassle-free experiences that’ll simplify their lives. Because she believes every child deserves the best, and so does every parent!
